Arabic corner was opened at the National Children's Library after Khnko Aper
On October 11 at the library took place the official opening of Arabic corner. Library director R. Tonoyan welcomed the attendees. She mentioned that library highlights international collaboration ties and added that Corner will be platform to get acquainted to Arabic world's rich history, culture, literature, art and traditions, and effective collaboration platform between two language cultures' representatives . The deputy minister of RA Education, Science, Culture and Sport Ministry Mrs N. Khachaturyan told that Corner will promote to world recognition of Armenian children and interest expansion towards Arabic. Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Armenia Mr Mohamed AlQatam AlZaabi congratulated present people, mentioned that project was implemented within the year of Tolerance. "We are here to develop and deepen the collaboration in the sphere of culture and education". RA ambassador of Japan to Armenia Mr Jun Yamada, cultural and public figures, intellectuals, guests were present to the opening. The theatrical group of library performed "Golden dates" fairy tale. Let us mention, the Corner was opened with the support of the Embassy of United Arab Emirates to Armenia, with the initiative of National Children's Library and support of IBBY UAE and Arabic "Kalimat" foundation.
